Land Rover Discovery teaser

Oh, you wanted details on the new Land Rover Discovery? Come now. We know how teaser marketing works. We get a teaser image to build towards another tease that announces it ahead of the actual show.

You have to feel for the marketing departments at this point. Shit has to be confusing. Is this the pre-tease before the actual tease of the tease? Regardless, we all want one. Damn you Land Rover and your badass SUVs.

2017 Land Rover Discovery Details

Here’s what we know. We get a look at the front of the new Discovery.

And some bullet points.

  • Land Rover Discovery to feature leading versatility, capability and technology
  • Land Rover Discovery family of SUVs expands to two 7-Seat models: Discovery and Discovery Sport
  • On sale in U.S. in mid-2017, All New Discovery continues the Land Rover Above and Beyond journey
  • New Discovery world premiere to take place on September 28, 2016, ahead of the Paris Motor Show

Oh, come on Land Rover. Nothing on the engine? Colors? It’s easy to hate on the company for the tease, but can’t blame them. Marketing is a tough landscape, though it’s Land Rover. Everyone perks up when the brand flashes across. And at least we will get a full reveal before the Paris Auto Show.

Sound off on hopes for the fourth generation Land Rover Discovery. Significant design changes seem doubtful. Under the hood should see some changes as both the Discovery and Discovery Sport get debuted. Price wise? It’s a Land Rover. Don’t expect large discounts.
