343 Industries is doing and saying all the right things when it comes to Halo: The Master Chief Collection. And, that’s why it’s one of the most hyped for games coming this holiday season.

Four remastered Halo 2 maps were announced in recent months for Halo MCC. Sanctuary, Zanzibar, Coagulation and Ascension. It isn’t a Halo game without some iteration of Lockout. The extremely popular Halo 2 map gets the next-gen treatment in the remastered edition.

Gamespot has several images with before and after looks of Lockout. Check out one of the images below.

PAX Prime attendees can get their hands on Halo: The Master Chief Collection starting tomorrow at 10 am at the Xbox Booth. The ASTRO Gaming and Skullcandy Gaming Booths will have the Halo PAX Prime Showdown Qualifiers starting tomorrow as well.

On Saturday, 343 Industries will be holding a Halo: The Master Chief Collection panel. Here’s Halo Waypoint’s description of the panel. “Join the Halo Developers from 343 Industries for an in-depth look into Halo: The Master Chief Collection and other upcoming Halo projects and releases. Come celebrate The Master Chief and the future of the franchise as we take you on the next steps of your Halo journey.”

More Halo 5: Guardians? If it’s anything, it will be small. A gameplay tease would be awesome, though. That panel will be held at Benaroya Hall starting at 11am on Saturday.

Halo’s PAX Prime adventure wraps up with the PAX Prime Showdown Tournament Finals. The Grand Finals are expected to kick off at 4pm on Twitch.tv/Halo. Alex Mendez (Goldenboy), Andy Dudynsky (Bravo), Clint Evans (Maven) and Eric Hewitt (Gho57Ayame) will be casting the tournament. $10,000 will be up for grabs at this weekend’s tournament.

We’ll keep you updated if any new Halo news drops this weekend.
