Iran nuclear negotiations? To hell with that. We have bigger issues to discuss on C-SPAN. Like those couple of guys starting trouble in my neighborhood. C-SPAN should actually embrace the pranks. It’s the only time people realize the channel exists.
The host of the Washington Journal thought Jack Strickland was going to discuss the ongoing Iran nuclear negotiations.Instead, Mr. Strickland manage to weave the Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme into the conversation rather well. He managed to get far along before being cut off.
C-SPAN lacks any sense of humor.
I’m calling from Bel-Air, California, but I am originally from Philadelphia–specifically West Philadelphia. I was actually discussing this issue with a friend of mine recently, while I was in Philly–it occurred on the basketball court. At some point during the conversation, a couple of guys, who were up to no good, essentially started causing trouble in my neighborhood. I got in one little fight and my mom got scared and said you’re movin with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air.
Well played, Jack. Well played.
The call is definitely one of my new favorite C-SPAN pranks. My favorite? When the mother of a panelist duo called in to berate her sons for arguing too much. You tell ‘em mom. I hope she ended up with a peaceful Christmas.
What’s your favorite on-air prank? And keep it clean.
