Ubisoft dropped the details on the Assassin’s Creed Unity season pass today. For $29.99, Ubisoft promises eight hours of additional content. The biggest surprise is a completely new game called Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China.
In Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China, you’ll play as Shao Jun, a character from the Assassin’s Creed Embers animated movie. Here’s Ubisoft describing the premise of the game.
Trained by Ezio Auditore, Shao Jun has returned to Beijing as the last remaining Assassin of the Chinese Brotherhood. Hell-bent on revenge, she will strike out against those who destroyed her Brotherhood.
AC Chronicles: China is inspired by traditional brush paintings and that inspiration is evident in the screenshot below. It is a 2.5D title, so don’t expect a traditional Assassin’s Creed gameplay experience here.
Dead Kings is a story campaign DLC that takes you from the turbulent city of Paris to Saint Denis.
Arno leaves Paris seeking isolation and finds himself wrapped up in the mysteries surrounding Saint Denis. Explore the city’s extensive underground with Arno’s lantern. Beware the animals wandering in the darkness…
A new Guillotine Gun will make things interesting as you traverse the mysterious depths of Saint Denis.
Besides these two big pieces of DLC, the season pass comes with an assortment of weapons, gear and skills. More than 30 items are included in the season pass including the Fleur de Lys Sword on launch day.
Assassin’s Creed Unity releases on November 11. All of the season pass content will be available by early 2015.
