These won’t be cheap, but Aston Martin has announced both the V8 and V12 Vantage will become the newest members of the company’s AMR (Aston Martin Racing) lineup. Those wanting a new AMR Vantage should know the production cars will be limited editions and sit below the AMR Pro models.
Both variants will feature the roadster or coupe variant with either an automated sequential paddle-shift transmission or your choice of six and seven-speed manuals. Under the hood, the V8 Vantage will output 430-hp, while the V12 enjoys 565-hp. May not win the award the for fastest car, but those horsepower numbers will get you in trouble.
Color options are limited to four: Ultramarine black with blue graphics, Stratus White with orange graphics, Scintilla Silver with gray graphics and Zaffre Blue with red graphics. The interior of the beasts will include carbon fiber seats, while the exterior options will feature carbon fiber grilles, alloy wheels in three finish options, and plenty of performance options from AMR.
When will the Vantage AMR be released? Mark your calendars for later this year.
