Having trouble downloading the latest freemium game on iOS? You’re not the only one. Apple’s iTunes and App Store are suffering a rare outage right now.
As of 2:30 pm ET, the App Store, iTunes Store, Mac App Store and iBooks Store are down.
Users across Twitter, Apple’s forums and Reddit are also complaining about outages affecting iCloud, Gamecenter and TestFlight.
According to an Apple statement to CNBC, the outage was caused by an internal DNS error at Apple. The company is “working to make all of the services available to customers as soon as possible.”
