“Blazkowicz, do not kill anyone unless you have to.”
“What’s that? Kill as many Nazis as I can,” Blazkowicz responds.
Watch Blazkowicz do his thing in the Wolfenstein: The Old Blood launch trailer.
Machine Games blasted onto the scene last year with the fantastic Wolfenstein: The New Order. It shouldn’t surprise anyone who knows Machine Games’ background. They were founded in 2009 by several former developers of Starbreeze.
Machine Games did something that was unthinkable last year. Release a shooter with no multiplayer. Wolfenstein: The New Order ended up being my favorite shooter of the year.
Wolfenstein: The Old Blood gives us another helping of last year’s fantastic game. It was a prequel set in 1946. The game is broken into two parts. The first part focuses on Blazkowicz trying to steal the coordinates to General Deathshead’s compound.
The second part takes Blazkowicz to the city of Wulfburg – which you see in the trailer above.
I haven’t had a chance to play Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, but if it is anything like the first – it is a must own. My night is set. How about yours?
