Who else misses the good ole shooters of Quake, Unreal Tournament and the like? I enjoy Call of Duty and Battlefield as much as the next person, but sometimes you just need something a little more fast pace and a little more brutal. DOOM is that something.
Yesterday, Bethesda gave us another look at DOOM’s multiplayer. This time focusing on Demons, Power Weapons & Power-Ups. We all wanted to see the BFG. Well, here it is.
I’m still not digging the announcer, but everything else looks incredible. Cross your fingers that it will play as good as it looks.
DOOM’s closed beta kicks off on March 31 and run through April 3. Those of you who pre-ordered Wolfenstein: The New Order and redeemed your code can play during those few days. For everyone else? DOOM is coming on May 13th.
Bethesda has been releasing gameplay of DOOM at a decent clip over the past month. A few days ago we saw several of the six multiplayer modes coming at launch.

March 29th DOOM live stream
Bethesda is bringing popular YouTubers and sports athletes together for the ‘Day of DOOM.’ Youtubers including iJustine and SSSniperWolf will team up with athletes including Antonio Brown and Thierry Henry to see, “Who is the best demon slayer?”
Yes, it’s silly. But who cares, it’s more DOOM gameplay. I’ll be tuning in. The action starts March 29 at 6 pm EST. Tune in then to see all the head-ripping, BFG action.
