Every Meal in One Photo. Instagram’s Layout Makes It Happen
Instagram Layout

Why mess with filters on just one photo. Now, you can do it with multiple photos on a single image. Meet Layout. “It’s fun, it’s simple and it gives you a new way to flex your creativity,” reads an Instagram post.

Download the app, give it permission to access your photos and you are set. As you start the app, you’ll see previews of custom layouts as you choose photos.

Want to make something straight out of Interstellar? Layout has you covered.

How about something a bit more like a traditional collage? You can do that too.

Instagram also added a Faces option to quickly get to photos of your friends. At least you won’t have to worry about swiping past hundreds of pet photos.

You decide how you want your collage to look.

“Drag and drop photos to rearrange them, pinch to zoom or pull the sides of each photo to adjust its size and get your layout just right. Then flip and rotate your photos to create cool arrangements and mirror effects,” reads the Instagram post.

Photo Booth is designed for spur-of-the-moment pictures. A quick tap starts a countdown while you setup your perfect selfie. If it cuts down on selfie sticks, I’m ok with it.

“From imagining mirrored landscapes to sharing multiple moments from an entire adventure, we’ve seen these kinds of visual storytelling happening on Instagram and we’re inspired by it. With Layout, it’s easier than ever to unlock your creativity – and we can’t wait to see what you’ll make next.”

Get ready for pictures of every meal your friend ate today in one handy image.
