What happens when some of the folks who brought us Dead Space take a crack at Call of Duty Zombies? This creepy trailer is what happens. Here’s our first look at the Nazi Zombies mode coming in Call of Duty: WWII.
Damn, I knew zombies were supposed to be scary – but Sledgehammer Games is ratcheting up the terrifying levels to 11 here.
Activision also offered a plot description for the mode.
Players will embark on a chilling and mysterious journey through a snowy Bavarian village in Mittelburg, Germany, as they attempt to recover priceless works of art stolen by the Axis powers in World War II. This village holds a shadowy secret key to an unimaginable and monstrous power. Nothing is as it seems in this zombies horror, as a dark and sinister plot unfolds to unleash an invincible Nazi army of the dead.
These ugly bastards most definitely do not belong in a museum.

Oh, and Easter Egg fans? Sledgehammer Games’ Michael Condrey promises the “hardest Easter Egg hunt you’ve ever been on.” That’s a big promise. Fans will be looking forward to seeing them deliver.
Me? Just give me easy access to guns to kill zombies.
We also have details on the cast we’ll be playing as.

The hype around this year’s Call of Duty game is the highest it’s been in at least a couple of years. Going back to WWII was a good call. And it looks like Sledgehammer Games is set to deliver another solid entry in the franchise.
I’m definitely on board to see more Zombies after that scary trailer.
