The Xbox might be light on exclusives this year, but we can always count on Forza Motorsport to deliver one of the best racing games out there. And it looks like the seventh entry into the Motorsport side of the franchise will live up to the previous six.
Check out the launch trailer in all its 4K glory.
Man, that makes an Xbox One X purchase hard to pass up. Or a PC upgrade. Decisions, decisions.
But enough drooling over the trailer, hop on Xbox or your PC and download the demo right now. Three cars on three different tracks will have to quench your thirst until the end of the month.
Forza 7’s cover car, the Porsche 911 GT2 RS, brings its 700 HP to Dubai. Or, rip through the Mugello circuit in Italy in a Mercedes-Benz Tankpool racing truck. No racing game is complete without a trip around the iconic Nürburgring track. Tear through tight corners with the Nissan NISMO GT-R LM.
Few games are as for sure bets as Forza. I can’t think of a Forza game that didn’t offer one hell of a package. Forza Horizon 3 kept the driving light and fun last year. Now, we’re back to the more simulation Motorsport fans love.
If you want to enjoy those 4K visuals seen in the trailer right away, you’re going to need a pretty beefy computer. Here’s the spec sheet from Turn 10.
You can also tweak the usual PC graphical options to take advantage of the unlocked framerate.
Turn 10 also touts support for “every fan-requested wheel on the market.” Here’s a list of the gamepads and wheels supported.
Forza Motorsport 7 is coming to Xbox One/PC on October 3rd. Or, you can drop an extra $40 on the Ultimate Edition ($100) and start playing on September 29th.
Those wanting 4K without dropping the money on a new PC? You’ll have to wait until the Xbox One X hits retailers on November 7th.
