Halo 5: Guardians Launch Trailer Makes the Next 15 Days an Excruciating Wait
Halo 5 launch trailer

The Halo 5: Guardians trailer is here and it’s bringing the hype.

I wasn’t the biggest fan of the music at first. Muse is great, but I love me some Halo music. After watching it a few more times though, I’m digging it.

The trailer sets the story for Halo 5: Guardians. ‘Events’ are striking the outer colonies and the Master Chief has gone rogue. Spartan Locke and Osiris Team are tasked with tracking Chief and Blue Team down. Buck (Nathan Fillion) asks Locke exactly how are they supposed to bring Chief and Blue Team in, “ask politely?”

I love the shots of Chief walking away.

Master Chief becomes the hunted

It conveys everything ONI has been saying about Master Chief. That he has turned his back on humanity. We all there’s more to it, but it’s an awesome shot.

What a time to be a shooter fan. Halo 5: Guardians, Call of Duty: Black Ops III and Star Wars: Battlefront within a few weeks of each other. Plus, we’ve played all of them already. Not to mention Fallout 4, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Just Cause 3 and more. I know every holiday season feels like the best in gaming, but this might be one of the best in recent memory. Hell, one of the best years in recent memory.

Don’t forget to catch the next episode of #HuntTheTruth tomorrow.
