Microsoft’s exclusive racer, Forza Horizon 2, is coming in two weeks. Today, the DLC picture gets a bit clearer.
On launch day, Microsoft will be releasing a free DLC pack. The Forza Horizon Launch Bonus Car Pack stocks your garage with eight more cars. The following bunch offers plenty of variety.
2003 Ford focus RS
1997 Land Rover Defender 90
1993 Clio Williams
2015 Ford Mustang GT
1987 Buick Regal GNX
2012 Cadillac Escalade ESV
1968 Abarth 595 Esseesse
1956 Ford F-100
You’ll be tearing up the Horizon 2’s landscape in style with these rides.
Fans of the Forza franchise can also get up to five additional free cars depending on how much they’ve played the previous titles.
Like most game companies and publishers, the freebies don’t last for long. Two DLC purchases offer more cars and faster in-game rewards. The VIP Membership costs $20 and nets you in-game rewards twice as quickly and includes the VIP Car Pack (2012 Lamborghini Urus, 2014 Tesla Model S, 1967 Ferrari 330 P4, 1949 Mercury Coupe, and the 2013 Donkervoort D8 GTO), access to special multiplayer benefits and more.
Forza 5 VIP members can snag Forza Horizon 2’s VIP Membership for $10.
A $25 Car Pass comes with six DLC packs released every month starting in October. Each pack comes with five cars plus the 2010 Noble M600.
