It’s safe to say the launch of Assassin’s Creed Unity was a disaster. Ubisoft has their work cut out for them as they attempt to fix the many issues with the game.
These are some of the fixes that Ubisoft is currently working on for their next update.
– Arno falling through the ground.
– Game crashing when joining a co-op session.
– Arno getting caught inside of hay carts.
– Delay in reaching the main menu screen at game start.
But wait, there’s more. Ubisoft plans to keep the updates coming as they aim to eventually get the game running semi-correctly. The list of issues that plan to be addressed in the future are:
– Frame rate issues.
– Graphical and collision issues.
– Matchmaking co-op issues.
– Helix Credits issues.
Ubisoft promises to provide “additional details in the coming days.” Having problems not mentioned above in AC Unity? Let Ubisoft know.
As for when these patches will be available? No time frame yet, but I imagine the developers will be working around the clock to address these issues quickly.
You would think with the Ubisoft army developing the game, these bugs would have been addressed before launch. Then again, this could be a case of ‘too many cooks in the kitchen.’
