Evil dude with evil stuff doing evil things. That about wraps up the Just Cause 3 story. And I’m 100% onboard.
Don’t worry, the latest trailer still has plenty of explosions for Just Cause 3 fans.
“What are you planning to do son?”
“Something… subtle,” says Rico as he grabs a rocket launcher. Ah, it’s good to have Just Cause back.
I know the holiday onslaught of games is almost here – Halo 5, Fallout 4, Call of Duty, Star Wars and so on. But don’t sleep on Just Cause 3. I haven’t had a chance to play it yet, but if it’s anything like Just Cause 2 – I’ll love it. You can’t put a price on fun. And soaring around with a wingsuit while shooting, grappling hook and rockets looks like a ton of it.
Did you miss out on Just Cause 2? The Xbox One version comes with it. You’ll be able to play it via Xbox One’s backward compatibility feature when it launches next month.
Explosions, lots of explosions
Colin Alteveer, Lead Technical Artist at Avalanche Studios, perfectly encapsulates what Just Cause 3 is about in a recent dev diary. “So, kind of everything is a weapon and then, there’s also weapons.”
Check out what else Avalanche Studios’ developers have to say about Just Cause 3’s core gameplay in the video. Here’s one more great quote from Game Director Roland Lesterlin who touches on the surreal gameplay of Just Cause 3. “It’s a guy with a grapple hook, on his arm that can do it without it detaching his arm from his body.”
Keep your eyes on Just Cause 3 when it releases on PS4, Xbox One and PC on December 1.
