The folks at Nitro Circus continue to prove they are the craziest bunch out there. What insane trick did they set their eyes on this time? A quadruple backflip on a BMX bike.

BMX riders James Foster and Jed Mildon faced off to see who could do it first. After several nasty falls, Jed Mildon came out on top. And, totally nailed the landing.

Here’s the full video showing several nasty spills before Meldon nailed the quadruple backflip.

Meldon, a BMX rider from New Zealand, thanked all his fans and everyone who watched the insane stunt. “Thanks heaps everyone! It means a lot! So happy you all got to see this today,” Meldon wrote on Facebook.

Nitro Circus’ story

Nitro Circus wasn’t always the global phenomenon it is today. 12 years ago, Travis Pastrana was producing DVDs out of a garage with Jeremy Rawle and Gregg Godfrey.

In 2009, Nitro Circus partnered with MTV to create the insanely awesome TV series, Nitro Circus Live.

Today, they tour all around the world bringing their brand of craziness to the masses in live shows.

Nitro Circus now consists of more than 40 riders performing the most insane stunts you’ve ever seen on BMX bikes, skateboards, wheelchairs and whatever contraptions they can think up.

The Nitro Circus tour swings back stateside starting October 6 at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio. In October and November, they will criss-cross the U.S. and Canada in more than two dozen shows.
