Some of you already have a couple of days of Halo 5: Guardians under your belt. Others just got started yesterday. You probably all have noticed flinch.

When you come under fire in Halo 5: Guardians, your aim is thrown off slightly. It’s especially noticeable when using the BR or DMR at mid to long-range.

Josh Holmes, Studio Head for Halo 5: Guardians, responded to a person asking why flinch was still present in the beta.

I’m assuming Josh means animations when he says “anims.”

This is great news. Outside of ADS (aim down sight), flinch was one of my biggest problems with the beta so far. Keep letting 343 Industries know of any bugs or features you don’t like.

I’ll be writing a post later this week highlighting what I like and don’t like about Halo 5: Guardians so far.
