Combine DICE’s ability to make a badass trailer with Lando Calrissian and it’s guaranteed to be good. Let’s take a trip to Cloud City. With AT-ATs.

I don’t know which is better. Lando Calrissian. Or, Royal Guards.

Star Wars Battlefront royal guards

That scene (at 0:57) with Luke, Han, Leia and Lando backing up to the ship looks epic.

It’ll never happen in my game, but it looks awesome.

The Star Wars Battlefront Bespin DLC brings more maps, heroes, weapons and star cards.

Five new maps themed around the Cloud City of Bespin takes us from wide streets to the carbonite chamber. And we get a sneak peek at the carbonite chamber in action. Something tells me quite a few ‘record that’ moments will be had in that room.

Two new heroes join the fray with Lando Calrissian and the bounty hunter Dengar. Yeah, they’re dragging the bottom of the barrel a bit for villains. Bossk would have been a better pick, but Dengar’s grenade throwing special looks pretty sweet. Lando appears to have a powershot similar to Han’s.

The new gamemode is called Sabotage. Here’s how EA describes it:

The Empire has deployed several tractor beams on the surface of Cloud City that prevents Rebel ships from escaping the planet. In order to power the tractor beams, the Empire makes use of Tibanna Gas Generators that draw from the Tibanna Gas native to Bespin.

We catch a glimpse of one of the new weapons during the trailer – the X8 Night Sniper. It’s a blaster pistol with a thermal scope. The second blaster pistol is the EE-4, a solid blaster for close-combat.

Three new Star cards include Scout Binoculars (reveal enemy units to your team), Shock Grenade, and Disruption (an energy wave that knocks out blasters, turrets and droids).

Those of you who grabbed the season pass can start playing the Bespin DLC on June 21. Non season pass owners will be waiting two weeks.

EA is hosting a livestream tomorrow to show off more of the DLC. No word yet on the specific time, but I’ll update this post once I find out.
