Did you feel that? It’s the sound of millions of us screaming where are all the Star Wars: Battlefront maps. It’s the biggest complaint surrounding Star Wars: Battlefront. For some, there just isn’t enough maps to justify $60. Hey, I feel you. I’ve gone back and forth over whether I should pick up Battlefront. My mind says don’t. $60 for a multiplayer only game that is light on content (for $60). Then I play as Boba Fett, and I can’t get this silly ass grin off my face.

So, you’re picking up Battlefront tomorrow – what’s next? EA being EA, we all knew a season pass was coming. Now we know what exactly is in it.

4 expansion packs
20+ weapons, vehicles and Star Cards
4 more Heroes and Villains
16 maps featuring new locations
4 new modes
2 weeks early access to each expansion pack
‘Shoot First’ emote

Let’s take a closer look. Four expansion packs is ok. Five would have been better. That’s how many Battlefield 4 Premium had.

Only four Heroes and Villains? Chewie and Lando better be there…

16 new maps “featuring new locations.” I want to know exactly how many planets that will be. I’m thinking 4-5.

DICE needs to build on Walker Assault with the four new modes. Battlefront works best when all the game’s tools are being used. Team Deathmatch is fun and all, but I’m playing Battlefront to crush Rebels with an AT-AT, then switch over to Boba Fett before jumping into a TIE Fighter. That is where Battlefront shines. Not escorting a droid.

Give us a 40 player game mode with large vehicles on both sides. And let all six Heroes and Villains on the map at the same time. Toss in a central control point where the Rebels have to download the Death Star plans or something. It would be chaos, and it would be awesome!
