Is the world big? Yeah, it’s big.

The trailer does a fantastic job selling the game. Landscapes appear open and varied. Ride through mountain valleys on your horse, or explore underground temples.

I was impressed with how funny some of the dialogue was in the trailer.

Here’s one exchange.

Vampire: “Is it 1358, yet?”

Witcher: “No.”

Vampire: “Then f**k off!”

There’s plenty to keep you busy in The Witcher 3. The trailer highlights activities ranging from horse racing and getting drunk to satisfying your passions and joining ancient rituals.

It’s hard not to be hyped for The Witcher 3 after watching this trailer. The only real concern any of should have at this point is how good the main quest and side quests are. Oh, and how does it run on consoles. Yeah, The Witcher 3 is a PC purchase for me.

The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt releases on May 19th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will have 16 pieces of DLC free for everyone.

But, that doesn’t include expansion packs. CD Projekt Red recently announced two expansion packs, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine. Combined the two new expansion packs will offer 30 hours of new gameplay. I’m cool with paying for that.

The best speedrun of The Witcher 3 by internal playtesters? 25 hours according to the developer. That number won’t hold up once the game is in everyone’s hands.

What do you think of the trailer? Tell me the one thing you’re most excited about in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
