White Rabbit Project is the Goofy Half of MythBusters in Binge Format

White Rabbit Project

Netflix knows what I want. “The coolest tech. The weirdest weapons. The craziest escapes. Three science-loving sleuths put them under the microscope.” The goofy MythBusters trio is back with Kari Byron, Tory Belleci and Grant Imahara. Here’s the official trailer for White Rabbit Project.

You won’t have to wait long to get your Kari, Tory and Grant fix. Because Netflix likes us to sit on our asses for long stretches, you can binge all the episodes starting December 9th.

Based on the description it looks like the trio will be taking deeper looks into what has happened. Not what ifs. They will rank “history’s greatest inventions, heists, and more,” Netflix teases.

After wrapping up a 14-season run, MythBusters came to an end this year. At least Netflix knows there are still science junkies out there looking for their explosion fix. White Rabbit Project might not look at the what ifs that much, but you can bet something is blowing up in its first season.

And I’m digging the focus on heists and other craziness from the past.

It’s not just the trio of Kari, Tory and Grant returning either. John Luscombe, Ryan Senter, Martin Ives and their production company Beyond Productions are producing the show. That’s the same behind the scenes crew responsible for MythBusters.

We’ll see just how deep down the rabbit hole Netflix lets them go next Friday.
