Geralt’s last adventure takes him to the land of Toussaint. A land full of color. But red is the color flowing lately, and it’s not just the wine. “You will unravel the horrifying secret behind a beast terrorizing the kingdom,” reads the official description.
The Witcher 3 Blood and Wine’s launch trailer shows us it’s not only one beast we have to worry about.
No one doubts CD Projekt Red, but man, everything I see from this expansion looks great.
Geralt’s going to have his hands full with some of these monsters. (These are YouTube screen caps).
Blood and Wine is packed with content. The developers say there are more than 90 quests equaling 30 plus hours of gameplay. That hour figure will vary depending on how you approach it, but there will be a lot for fans to comb through once the expansion drops on May 31.
“There’s also a massive amount of features we’re giving gamers with this expansion like a dynamic Point of Interest system, a new GWENT deck, new endgame mutation mechanics, and even a place Geralt can call home…. And it’s all happening in a new region as big as No Man’s Land in the base game,” said CD Projekt Red’s Konrad Tomaszkiewicz recently.
Blood and Wine is shaping up to be the best expansion yet for The Witcher 3. And it caps an amazing month in gaming. May brought a little something for everyone. Whether you want to finish Geralt’s adventure, journey into the final frontier in Stellaris or shoot stuff in Overwatch – May had it all.
