Apple fans and potential customers are loving all the price cuts for Apple products. Today, it’s Wal-Mart getting in on the action. The massive retailer just launched a set of deals aimed at getting current iPhone users to upgrade to the 5s and 5c models.

The iPhone 5c now stands at $29 with a two-year contract. The 5s sits at $99 on a two-year contract. That’s down from $149 for the 5s and $49 for the 5c they were selling for.

These discounts are only available at Wal-Mart stores.

Other retailers have jumped on board with their own price cuts. Earlier this week, Costco started selling the iPhone 5s at $77.99.

The big question remains, will these price cuts push customers to upgrade right before Apple announces a new slate of phones? I wouldn’t. If you’re sitting on an iPhone 4, just wait a little bit longer. Apple tends to launch new iPhone models in September and most believe Apple will stick to that date this time around.
