– The Firesale Public Event has been adjusted to last a fixed duration.<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\nNext up, the weapon changes. Raven took a swing at the newest Assault Rifle, the Cooper Carbine<\/strong>. Here are the changes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n– Maximum Damage decreased to 24, down from 25.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n– Minimum Damage decreased to 19, down from 20.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n– ADS speed decreased by 5.3%.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\nThe developers touched on what they were looking at when making tweaks. If you stack all the Fire Rate Attachments, you could get the gun near 1,200 RPM (rounds per minute). Combine that with its good accuracy and damage range, and it was a little too good. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHigh Rate of Fire Weapons, of which many Vanguard Weapons can become, must be carefully tuned to offset the extreme level of forgiveness that trait provides. We believe in that regard, there is much work ahead of us. The Cooper Carbine (VG) is still going to be effective but is now more likely to lose fights to Submachine Guns in short-range engagements,\u201d <\/em>Raven writes in their patch notes.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\nRaven also explained how adjustments to Vanguard weapons aren\u2019t the same as Modern Warfare and Cold War weapons. \u201cAdjustments to base Weapons are not as impactful as they once were. Vanguard Attachments can completely alter the behavior of a Weapon\u2014including its Damage profile, Fire Rate, and Recoil. When we make these adjustments, we are considering the Weapon holistically, in all its permutations. Our goal is for these Weapons to be just as viable with one of these Attachments as it can be with all of them.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\nRaven also made adjustments to attachments:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the BAR<\/strong>, two barrel attachments were tweaked:<\/p>\n\n\n\nCGC 27\u201d 2B<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n– Horizontal Recoil Control decreased by 5%<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n– Vertical Recoil Control decreased by 5%<\/em> <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\nCGC 30\u201d XL<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n– Horizontal Recoil Control decreased by 5%<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n– Vertical Recoil Control decreased by 5%<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\nThe Cooper Carbine<\/strong> also saw a barrel tweak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n14\u201d Gracey Rapid<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n– Now multiplies Damage by .9<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n– Now multiplies Headshot Damage by 1.07<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n– Now multiplies Upper Torso Damage by .99<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n– Now increases Vertical Recoil by 5%.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\nAnd finally, some changes to the magazines for both guns. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
BAR:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n8mm Klauser 30 Round Mags<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n– Horizontal Recoil Control decreased by 4%<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n– Vertical Recoil Control decreased by 4%<\/em> <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n50 BMG 30 Round Mags<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n– Horizontal Recoil Control decreased by 4%<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n– Vertical Recoil Control decreased by 4%<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\nCooper Carbine:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n9mm 60 Round Drums<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n– Damage Multiplier increased to .96, up from .89<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n– Move Speed decreased by 2%<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\nActivision should consider splitting Warzone off completely. And honestly, it\u2019s going to have to happen eventually. I don\u2019t have a problem with weapons from Vanguard coming over, but it needs to happen in the confines of one game build. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
You start pulling in weapons from a game with different attachments\/features, and balancing them all becomes a nightmare. Let Raven pull the weapons over within the feature set of the weapons already there. Or, update all of them to include the same attachments as the latest game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
