Here\u2019s how it now stacks up against some of October\u2019s biggest releases:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Assassin\u2019s Creed Mirage &#8211; October 5<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Forza Motorsport &#8211; October 10<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lords of the Fallen &#8211; October 17<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alan Wake 2 &#8211; October 17<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Marvel\u2019s Spider-Man 2 &#8211; October 20<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>While Assassin\u2019s Creed is a massive franchise and can stand toe-to-toe with pretty much any game, it\u2019s not a bad idea to get away from other single-player-focused games, especially Marvel\u2019s Spider-Man 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Assassin\u2019s Creed Mirage takes place 20 years before the last game, Valhalla. I was hoping to see some regular combat too. The old games had a heavy focus on parry attacks that felt smooth. I\u2019m hoping we see a return to that here.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mirage was also described as a \u201cshorter, more narrative-driven game\u201d during its reveal. And the price point reflects that too. While AAA games prices rise to $70, Mirage will retail for $50.
