Here Are The Xbox Game Pass Games Coming (And Going) – May 2019

Xbox Game Pass continues to be a fantastic service for folks who don’t rush out and buy day one releases and never play them (raises hand). Today, the Xbox Game Pass team revealed the next slate of games coming to the service.

Let’s check them out.

May 2

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus

Wargroove

May 7

Descenders (Microsoft didn’t announce this, but the publisher tweeted it earlier today)

May 9

Surviving Mars

Tacoma

Black Desert

May 10

For the King (this is launching on Game Pass, and will be playable three days before its launch for members. So May 7)

May 16

The Surge

LEGO Batman 3

Most games don’t stay on Xbox Game Pass forever, and we’re losing ten in April:

Homefront: The Revolution

OlliOlli

OlliOlli2: XL Edition

Outlast

Pumped BMX+

Sheltered

The Golf Club

The Swapper

Unmechanical: Extended

Sonic & Knuckles (Xbox 360)

May’s lineup is looking nice. I’m always down to shoot Nazis in the face with Mick Gordon’s fantastic soundtrack blasting in my ears. Surviving Mars, The Surge, and Black Desert also look decent enough to at least give them a try.

I’m not sure how June’s Xbox Game Pass announcements will work with E3 coming up. A tease posted on Twitter about today’s announcement shows there will be titles announced there. With the games being added lately it’s hard not to get excited for some heavy hitters making their way to the service. My pipe dream? A Halo Infinite beta.
