Fortnite Skins Get Physical

November’s NPD gets a new challenger, and probably a winner. Fortnite is heading to physical (and digital storefronts) with the Deep Freeze Bundle. Epic and Warner Bros. are teaming up to bring this year’s biggest game to stores.

I don’t even play Fortnite that much compared to Rocket League and PUBG, but damn if I’m not tempted to buy the bundle. Packed inside is an all winter-themed package including the Frostbite Outfit, Cold Front Glider, Chill-Axe Pickaxe, Freezing Point Back Bling, and 1,000 V-Bucks.

Here’s a cover art showing all the cosmetics.

Fortnite deep freeze bundle

Fortnite Deep Freeze Bundle is coming on November 13. And with a paid option now, it’ll be interesting to see where Fortnite lands on the NPD charts.

Hitman 2 and Battlefield V are the big hitters in November that I can think of off the top of my head. Plus, we’ll have the carryover from Red Dead Redemption 2 and all of October’s biggest games. Can a cosmetic bundle for the biggest game out there top the biggest established franchises? I won’t be shocked.

How well will this bundle sell? It’ll probably do gangbusters, and if it does, I could see Epic doing more physical bundles like this every so often. I was surprised they didn’t do a bundle like this during their anniversary.

Get ready to hear your sons, daughters, nephews, and nieces begging for the Deep Freeze Bundle.
