Respawn Isn’t Done With Titanfall According to New Job Listings

The folks at Respawn Entertainment are working on three games right now. We know the name for their Star Wars game (Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order), and that’s about it. They’re also working on an unannounced VR game. And today, job listings point to another Titanfall.

The listing (via PCGamer) is looking for several positions including Senior Animator, Senior Network Engineer, Project Manager, Level Designer and more.

That’s about it on the Titanfall front. We know less than we do about it than Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. But we do know Respawn still wants to work with it. Respawn CEO Vince Zampella said as much in an interview with Gamespot last year.

“We have our franchise creative director, who’s in charge of safeguarding the franchise in multiple formats and making sure it continues to grow. There are some other things we’re doing that haven’t been announced just yet, but we’re heavily invested in the Titanfall universe,” said Zampella.

After EA’s Battlefront 2 and Battlefield V struggles, they could use a winner. A critically acclaimed franchise like Titanfall with proper marketing in behind it would be a good place to start.

If you’re looking for a story to knock out in a weekend, do yourself a favor and grab Titanfall 2. It’s the best story in a shooter years. One level in particular with stay with you for a while thanks to its flawless execution.
