Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Won’t Be Kind To Your PC Hard Drive

It’s not all good news on the Call of Duty front. At least, not for your hard drive. Better start clearing some space on your hard drive because Modern Warfare will take up 175GB on PC.

That’s according to an official listing for the PC version over at Battle.net.

Call of Duty games are known to be on the hefty side. All that season pass content tends to get them north of the 100GB mark a few months after launch. But 175GB at launch? That’s got to be a record.

If you’re looking at Modern Warfare and Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC, you might want to buy a hard drive just for them. Add another 150GB for Red Dead Redemption 2. You’re looking at 325GB in just two games.

No word yet on how big the console versions will be. Those smart installs on next-gen hardware can’t come soon enough.

Besides the outrageous storage requirements, the rest of the PC requirements look reasonable enough.
