Marty O’Donnell will handle the music for this week’s “celebration of gaming.” The Game Awards 2014 appears to be taking a different tone from the previous award shows.
You’ll recognize Marty O’Donnell’s music from your favorite sci-fi shooters over the past ten years. Halo and Destiny.

The Video Game Awards will air this Friday, live on YouTube. World premieres will be the big draw for many folks. Awards for everything from Game of the Year to Best Fan Creation will be handed out. You can check out all the nominees here.
