Reports out of Disney say the Han Solo star was hospitalized in London this week after hurting his ankle while filming.
“Harrison Ford sustained an ankle injury during filming today on the set of ‘Star Wars: Episode VII.’ He was taken to a local hospital and is receiving care. Shooting will continue as planned while he recuperates,” says Disney in a statement.
THR is reporting that Harrison Ford was injured while filming by the door of the Millennium Falcon. Yep, sounds like the Millennium Falcon alright.
Sounds like the injury is minor. Harrison Ford should be back in action in no time.
As far as the Star Wars movie is concerned, pretty much nothing is known about the plot. The biggest news out of J.J. Abrams camp lately was some casting details. We know the next Star Wars will feature several bg name actors and a lot of new faces including, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Lupita Nyong’o, Max von Sydow, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker.
