Ok, so when I think of a marijuana app, I’m thinking for a source. Wait… did I just put that? Never mind. I’m looking for love. Yeah, love…

If you are on the market for love and THC, there’s an app for that. Wow, I’ve always wanted to say that. Named ‘High There’ it matches tree friendly folks looking for love.

CEO Todd Mitchem developed his Tinder-esque app after most of his dinner dates ended when he revealed his marijuana use. Yeah, damn eHarmony and those questions. He knew there had to be a better way.

“We wanted to build a cool piece of technology that solved the problem of where do million and millions of cannabis consumers go to meet people, connect with people and build relationships,” Mitchem told Mashable.

Based in Denver, CO, High There is available is in the 23 states that have legalized marijuana. Thanks a lot Alabama.

While most dating apps focus on matching interests such as fitness, long walks, dogs etc, High There is awesome. Like to smoke wax hash? It can match you. Vaper or a joint smoker? Options exist for that.

“A lot of people say we’re the Tinder of weed, but that’s only one facet of the whole thing,” Mitchem said. “It’s so much bigger.”

In addition to the matchmaking users can exchange information on dispensaries and other details. Yeah, that’s not marijuana I smell. That’s a monetization strategy.

Those looking for High There can find it on Android and Apple’s iOS later this week.
