Neil deGrasse Tyson Goes Non-Euclidian Geometry on BOB

Neil deGrasse Tyson teaching rapper BoB

BOB may have dropped Flatline in his war against Neil deGrasse Tyson, but Tyson dropped gravity and the mic on BOB when he visited The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore.

Remember the MTV show, Yo Momma? I’ll give you a second to Google that priceless piece of television. I know I wasn’t the only one cringing in embarrassment for the contestants.

That sets the stage for the rap war between BOB and our favorite astronomer, Neil deGrasse Tyson. Him and his damn facts versus flat-earth theories of a rapper.

Oh snap, did he just drop some non-euclidian geometry on BOB? Some Issac Newton standing on the shoulders of giants?

And with that, the entertainment value of this war between facts and someone who didn’t think before they hit the tweet button comes to a close.

It was fun gentleman. BOB, next time you’re on an airplane, look out the window my man. Neil? Time to board the ship of imagination and find us some star stuff.

For the rest of us who are looking at non-euclidean geometry and thinking this is why I majored in political science, I give you Khan Academy. Go forth and learn everything high school and college didn’t teach. We thank you, American education system.
