Ah, the good ol’ trailer for a trailer. But it’s Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus. I’ll allow it. Here’s a short, but sweet taste of what we can expect from tomorrow’s second gameplay trailer.

Bethesda keeps churning out solid games and Wolfenstein 2 looks to keep this trend going. But it’s the music that’s getting me pumped. I couldn’t help but think about Mick Gordon’s work on DOOM when the music kicked in.

And yep, Mick Gordon is teaming up with Bethesda again as he handles the Original Score for Wolfenstein 2.

UPDATE: Here’s the full trailer.

Man, this looks so good.

Original article continues.

I’m almost positive this is original music created for Wolfenstein 2. Not trailer music. After a little searching around, I found the same music playing at the end of two other Wolfenstein 2 videos from Bethesda’s YouTube channel.

Maybe the main menu theme?

One thing’s for sure, we’ll be jamming out to incredible music as we wrestle America back from the Nazis.

Hopefully, we get another behind the scenes look at how Mick brings the music to life. His DOOM videos are nothing but awesome.

And if you really want to understand how Mick approached DOOM’s soundtrack, his GDC talk is a must watch.

Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 27. Nintendo Switch fans also get in on the Nazi-killing action in 2018.
