It’s that time of the year. Once you’ve emerged from the turkey coma and sworn off anything remotely resembling a pumpkin, it’s time to shop. Black Friday is upon us and instead of getting trampled at your local Walmart, stick to the internet. DJI is out with their Black Friday sales, and there are a few promising deals.
The highlight deal is the Phantom 4 Pro. No price drop, but you do gain an extra battery and a MicroSD card. That alone is worth over $150. It also includes a landing pad. No idea why you would need one, but hey, it’s there if you do. How good is the Phantom 4 Pro? Check out this image below. Stock settings, zero edits in Lightroom.
Damn 20MP makes a difference over 12MP.
Another freebie style deal is the Phantom 4 Advanced. Same as the Phantom 4 Pro minus a few features, but you snap up a free battery, MicroSD card and landing pad. Pretty sure DJI bought the pads in bulk.
Enough with the free stuff, let’s save some money. The Mavic Pro is where you want to be. $150 is slashed from the Fly More combo on DJI’s ultra-portable drone. The original $1299 price tag is slashed to $1149 for Black Friday.
Even the new Alpine White Mavic Pro gets in on the price cutting, dropping to $1049 from $1099. And damn does the white look sleek as hell.
Want an FPV? The DJI Goggles earn a $50 price drop to $399. It’s nice to see them back in stock. How long that lasts is anyone’s guess.
For the beginners or kids in the family, the Spark is enjoying a price cut to $399 from $499. That’s huge and includes prop holders and a hand guard.
Both models of the Osmo Mobile see $100 price drops for the holidays. Snap up either the black or silver edition for $199. Make your smartphone movies even more cinematic. Quick note – grab an app that allows you to turn off your phone’s optical image stabilization. You don’t want the gimbal fighting OIS. The resulting fo]otage will be a mess.
DJI is also adding a few giveaways this year. You can enter to win a pair of Beats X, Bose Soundlink or a Fitbit. Head over to the page to enter for the giveaways. Also, each day will feature coupon codes for various DJI products – mostly discounts on the DJI Care Refresh. Think AppleCare for your drone.
And that’s DJI’s Black Friday Will there be a few surprises? Of course. Keep it locked here, and we will let you know the second anything of note hits.
