As August approaches, Microsoft announced which games you can pick up for free with your Xbox Live Gold subscription. On Xbox One, Crimson Dragon and Strike Suit Zero will be available starting August 1. Both games typically retail for $20. They will be replacing Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition and Max: Curse of Brotherhood.

For Xbox 360 owners, you get Motocross Madness on August 1-15. On August 16, Dishonored will be available for free for the rest of the month.

Not bad for August. I wonder when we’ll start seeing some of the launch retail games for the Xbox One and PS4 start being offered on their respective subscription plans.

As for Playstation, they haven’t announced what will be appearing on Plus for August. That announcement should happen any day though.

What do you think of the free games coming to Xbox platforms next month? Strike Suit Zero appears to be the better of the two Xbox One titles based off reviews. Definitely play Dishonoured if you haven’t yet.
