Terrible at storytelling? Or, need a creative nudge for an interactive presentation? Adobe’s answer to your problem is Voice, a new app for iPad that lets you create an animated video story in just a few minutes.
Adobe says the free app is fast and easy to use. You’ll start out by creating an outline of your video by selecting a preset story template. Add a personal touch by importing your own photos. Voice also has a huge library of 25,000 icons or you can search the internet for the photo you want.
After that, throw in your voice.
“Adobe Voice puts the power of Creative Cloud’s industry-leading video and audio technology into the hands of the masses,” Winston Hendrickson, Adobe’s vice-president of products for Creative Media Solutions, said in a press release. “Our move to Creative Cloud has given us a much broader canvas for innovation and attracted many new users to Adobe. We believe Adobe Voice, and other mobile apps expected in the next few months, will continue the momentum we’re seeing.”
This won’t replace your massive powerpoint presentation at the office, but it’s a good way to create a general outline for one. Adobe describes the app being used for “small businesses owners connecting with customers or students looking to create an interactive and engaging school report.”
