Treyarch is upping the Black Ops III Zombies ante with dragons. Stalingrad has seen its fair share of battles, but nothing like this. A battle between mechanized soldiers and dragons sets the backdrop for the new Black Ops III Zombies map, Gorod Krovi (City of Blood). Sound absurd? It looks absurd.
Ok, if you told me Black Ops III added dragons I would probably laugh – but this looks great.
That dragon-looking shield looks awesome, but I’m sure the process to get it is convoluted. Which brings me to my point.
I just want the Pack-a-Punch from the beginning
I’m not hating on all the easter eggs. I think it’s great the way Treyarch has taken the Zombies mode and ran with it. Every Treyarch game has built on the Zombies. Whole YouTube and Twitch communities have sprung up as fans look for any clues about the story and other easter eggs.
And fans expect the popular mode in non-Treyarch developed Call of Duty games. Infinity Ward is bringing is bringing Zombies to Infinite Warfare.
I just yearn for the days when Zombies was simpler. You. The weapon box. The Pack-a-Punch. And a whole bunch of dead zombies.
I poured countless hours into Zombies on World at War, Black Ops I and Black Ops II. I’ll never forget reaching the higher rounds with my friends and praying the next zombie would drop a ‘Max Ammo’ to keep the zombie-killing action going. Hell, more times than not – I would die on purpose to go to bed.
Give us a toggle option, Treyarch. I know I’m probably in the minority, but I would play a whole lot more if there were an option to unlock the Pack-a-Punch right away.
I’ll be playing the new zombie map regardless. How can you read this:
Players face-off against a swarm of mechanized zombie infantry and dodge hell-fire from aerial dragon assaults, all in the middle of a raging battle within the remnants of Stalingrad.
And not get pumped? The only thing that would be better is if I could ride one of these dragons.
Ok, I’ll do whatever crazy ass easter egg hunts I need to do if I can shoot fire from it too.
Do you enjoy all the easter egg hunting? Or, are you lazy like me and just want to blast zombies with Pack-a-Punch weapons?
