Have you blitzed through all Medici has to offer already? Damn, I admire your ability to stick with one game. I’m the type of person that tries to play Rainbow Six: Siege, Black Ops III, The Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 at the same time. And I wonder why I can’t finish any games these days.

Avalanche Studios are putting the final touches on the first Just Cause 3 DLC – Sky Fortress. This will be the ‘Air’ portion of their Air, Land and Sea Expansion Pass they announced last year. Details are slim, but the developers promise “new missions, features and other exciting surprises to the skies of Medici.” Right now, the team is busy play testing the content. Got to make sure at least most of the major bugs are found and squashed ahead of release.

Speaking of bugs, the developers also continue to fix issues raised by the community. These include optimization fixes, bug fixes and performance enhancements. I hope most of these optimization fixes and performance enhancements make their way to consoles. The PS4 (and especially the Xbox One) versions have terrible frame rate drops. Especially during high-action moments. So basically, the entire game.

The latest bug on PS4 crashes the game at the online login screen. Turning off ‘Internet’ in ‘Network Settings’ fixes the problem.

Avalanche Studios expects to have the latest update/patch out before the end of the month. And hey, if you can’t move Rico without the frame rate chugging – let the world play itself. Turns out Rico isn’t the sole reason for all the chaos in Medici.

13 seconds. That’s how long it takes before the first person dies without any interference from Rico. 17 seconds later, the first gunshots ring out. By a 1:40, Rico finds himself car surfing. All without pressing a button.

Did you pick up Just Cause 3? What do you think so far? And if you own it on consoles, how’s the performance for you?
